I have a 01' 929 and after riding for awhile i shut her off to refuel or whatever. It always starts again but when i put it in gear its dies sometimes and i have to wait. What gives?

 

Check the kickstand and its associated safety switch?

 

also check for any loose connections with any wire harness.

 

Does it ever shut off while riding, ie in-gear, motor on, kickstand up??

 

I thought maybe that was it after i read around on this site (kickstand). I wil check it out, thanks guys. I'm new and appreciate the feedback. Just bought the bike 4 $3300 bucks. I didn't think it was 2 bad a deal. No windsheild and small dent in tank from getting dropped. Fun and fast.

 

o there is one connection in the harness that isn't hooked together but i think it is the horn. Never shut off whie riding. Also what is a good seat, that ting kill's me.
