Welcome to the CBR Forum DeV,
As with all new bikes, take it easy to start with and get to know both your and the bikes capabilities. The forum has a great bunch of guys inhabiting it, and we like to keep members on two wheels as well as on the forum
Have you done any rider courses? And if you fill in your details as well as where you're from, often there are other members nearby that you may be able to join on a ride.
Cheers, SB

Thanks all for the welcome! I've always been into motorcycles a far as wanting them. Since my teenage years, I've wanted a motorcycle, however as far as my personal life goes it just wasn't realistic for me. I'm now twenty seven, my life is a little more realistically capable of justifying me getting my own bike. I live in Michigan, so obviously it is winter right now, however, obvious question is: when is the best time to purchase a bike? Answer: When they are at their lowest demand! Ex. WINTER! LOL. I just purchased my first bike, a 2001 CBR F4i . Its all black, sharp bike. 26,000 miles, I picked it up for just under $2000. I've watched similar bikes, higher mileage go for over $3000. I did a lot of research and looking before deciding and I got the exact bike I want, say what I consider a great price for a similar market. It also has a full upgraded exhaust from the motor all the way back, its a wrapped Yoshimura exhaust, sounds great! That's one of the things I live about the bikes, is the SOUND! Might sound stupid but its true. It also has a anti-theft alarm system. Just a couple minor bonuses. So that's where i'm at with the bike, oh and yes i'm signed up for a motorcycle safety course first weekend of April. Not only does it help me learn safely, but it also gets my "road test"out of the way for the DMV.
