noobie to the forum but been riding since the 70,s.... "Rubber side down" is what I remember hearing the most when I first started riding, along with " There is only two kinds of riders, Those who go down, & Those who go down & get back on.." Well Im metal from head to toe on my right side , and I have a rod & some screws on the left side. " I pimp with a limp, cuz thats the way that I walk" Ok So Ive been riding a pretty long time, and Crashing , going down , definitely hasn't made me lose my love for riding.I am an avid race fan and an Isle of mann junkie... I graduated MMI (AZ) Ive worked for several dealership in AZ and CA, The last Dealership was San Jose Yamaha until they shut down. I currently own a 98 R1 (my track days bike) and just recently pick up a project bike ,..... you guest it ,... a CBR... Its an 07 CBR1000RR that originally came from Florida and made its way to Cali , some how ended up at a harleydavidson club house and then passed on to me,...Ive had it for about a month now ,and im just waiting for some odds and ends to come in the mail and waiting on dmv to send me my title, to finish My CBR project. It will be my daily rider ( dont plan on winter riding tho, Ive done enough of that when I was younger..I will post some pic in the next day or two , I just need to pull all the bikes out of the garage , yes I have more than the R 1 and the CBR, but more on them a lil later. I just wanted to get the intro going ..Thanks to anyone who read all of this....And...RUBBER SIDE DOWN...!!!! (& IF U DONT KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS...i might reply with ..squid...jk)
