Hi everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself. Have been in the hobby for about 10 years now! My first ever bike was an F3 '95 which unfortunately, after 4,5 years of loyal service, had been hit by a car while on a roundabout with me and totalled the engine block. So I got myself an 1999 Fireblade after but couldn't really get used to it, then bought a kawasaki GTR1000 to misuse during the winter months but sold everything a year later. Now, a few years later, I felt it was time to get myself a motorcycle again and so my choice was obvious, the F3. An '98 version this time and I'm still looking for ways to open up this saddle, lol.

Welcome back to the biking fraternity great looking bike, I had a black 98 F3 which I ran for 7 years (did a run for the WSBK at Assen on that one), they are a great machine sold that for an F5, now on an F6... seems CBR's are in the blood.

@al, that's so awesome that you rode the bike at Assen during the wsbk. Been there too, but as a spectator only.

 

Sorry rode to Assen from here in the UK and was there as a spectator also.
