Default Hello from wet and windy Dorset (UK)

Lovely summer weather, raining cats and dogs. I'm Chris.
I got an old 92 CBR600FM (had for 5 years) and it still works and looks good, so no need to trade it in just yet.
Just go a job with 150 daily commute (rude mugs is a side line), so the CBR's mileage is gonna start racking up.
Also have a TTR250 Yam and a V6 Galant for carrying the family round in.
Looking for advice on best way to carry a laptop in bad weather. Common sense says a top box, but I'm not sure I'm old enough for that.
Anyone suggest anyhting better or got a rack for 92 CBR they wanna sell me nice and cheap?
Been riding 25 years on the road, on a variety of old mails, 3 x 350LC's, RG250, XJ650, GPz1100, CBR and few others I don't care to admit too.

Cheers

Welcome to CBRF Chris!! Be sure to post up a pic of your F2 when you get the chance. I have a '92 F2 myself and I'm always very curious as to how others are keeping their's up.

A 150 mile commute, that's nearly a tank a day!! I guess if you have to do it, at least the bike will make it far more enjoyable for you. Take care and enjoy the forums.

PS - When it rains, I usually carry my laptop in a big container with 4-wheels and a roof, but I'm a big softy. :-P

Default Rain

Yes to be honest if I know it's gonna rain, I'll take the tin top too, but it's never that predictable, so I'm gonna get caught out...

Welcome to the forums, Chris!
Heck of a nice F2 you got there! Real nice...

As far a carrying the laptop, I'd put it in huge ziploc bag and either carry it in a backpack, or bungee cord it to the back!
