Default G/day from Australia.

My big girl “Black Betty”.....for sale!
Hi y’all . In my best American accent....lol. New here as well. Been riding since 12 yrs old and now turned 64 yrs old. I’ve owned 26 different motorcycles in my life....so far! 3 months ago purchased 1995 CBR1000F. I also have Honda 2002 Valkyrie tricked up. Paid $3,000 for CBR with 40,600kms on clock. Of course now investigating the good old CCT rattle. Bike runs great but have not ridden sports bike for 20 yrs or more. I’m really enjoying it as it’s 120 kilo lighter than Valkyrie. I ain’t getting younger !
Looking forward to swapping info with site members.....as they say....
Keep the rubber side down ! Cheers Pablo. from SE Queensland,Australia.

1995 cbr1000f. My new / old ride.

Welcome! That's not too shabby of an American accent. It's probably just as good if not better than some American's accent.

You made a big change from the Valkyrie to the CBR. Both are great bikes.

You might find some fellow Aussies around here. They hop on here every now and then. We like have friends and perspectives from all over the big blue marble.

Thanks for welcome Hamlin. Yeah big change from Valkyrie to CBR. Joys of age creeping up and previous injuries & accidents all catching up on me now. CBR 120kg lighter and more nimble to ride. When I go down.....i’ll Go down in flames 🔥. Not giving up riding yet 👍

You are in good company. Just about everybody on here is what I will call "seasoned in life." Jump in and engage with the folks here. Everyone here loves to laugh and have a good time, not just talking about our collective love of bikes.

Hi thanks for welcome. We are lucky down under as weather Is good for riding nearly all year in most states. Bike sales have increased I hear by 35% since Xmas. Plus rising fuel costs are making motorcycles more popular here. Seeing lots of early model bikes coming out of sheds and barns to be ridden ...it’s cool !
