Hi
It all started with a '78 CB400t, I'm not even going to tell ya how long ago (a lady's age is personal after all). 😜
I've owned my share of CBs, VFRs and a few Yamahas thrown in for good measure. Something about Honda's inline machines just keep me coming back for more.
I traded my '09 st1300 in for a cage this winter with plans to pick up an older Honda later in the spring for a summer ride to keep up with the Bf's 1200rt.
Apparently my addiction was too strong - I didn't last a month without a 2-wheeler in the barn.
After some intense searching, the perfect machine popped up on craigslist; a '96 cbr1000f.
And so, here I am!
Anyone in Vancouver, BC ? I'll be looking for some other Hurricanes to ride with later this year for sure.
JJ

Welcome to the CBR Forum JJ,
Good to see you picked up one of the CBR Grand Old Ladies. They are truly great bikes that seem to live forever. Pop into the Hurricane Saloon and say Hi. It gets a little raucous in there at times but all in good fun.
Oh, and pop a photo up of your new ride when you can. We love pictures of the CBR1000Fs
Cheers, SB

Hi JJ and welcome.
You won't go far wrong with a CBR1000F - very comfortable & reliable, and fast when you want it to be, a great choice - I'm picking another one up soon after owning one 5 years ago and can't wait!

Welcome to CBRF! It's great to have you here! You certainly have found the place for 'canes on the internet. I'm not from BC - but I do know we have a few active members here that are from BC. I'm sure they'll chime in soon.
Post some pictures of your bike (and any pics you have of your previous rides too - we love all kinds of bikes)

Thanks all for the welcomes!
I'll be sure to get some posts up once I've set up a photobucket account. If the sun is out tomorrow, I'll take some nice pics while the bike is still showroom shiny.
