First "long" ride =-)
Left the family @ home and hit the road.
2 hours to the lake - COLD when I left (45F) but warmed up as I went. - Not terribly sore though - only right at the base of my neck. - Need to figure out the best riding position though - I tried tucked - upright, etc. - nothing was a marked improvement - now I'm really thinking chrome double bubble windshield. - ALSO need some better pants for the cold - leather jacket held it's own, wore my snowmobile gloves, but 6 hours after getting here my knees are still like ice...
Tomorrow's supposed to be colder yet - I think I'll add another layer.
300 miles logged since purchase - 2 $11 Tankfuls averaging 40 MPG - Way better than feeding any of my cages, and WAY more fun!

Good stuff man.. If im doing long straights longs trips i spend a lot of time with 1 hand on throttle and left elbow on gas tank to support a lot of weight. The jacket armor makes it comfy.. atleast for me i can ride like that for hours..
Ride safe ! Most of your aches you will get used to with time.
