So I'm taking a long trip from Gainesville, FL to Deals Gap in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions (its 500 miles and google says 8 hr). I've got a nice list of things that Im going to take.

deals gap has a good reputation of a ride. have fun and hope you deal with the forum for a bit longer lol.

make sure you got lots o water and snacks... and be ready for a sore butt.. cuz its a long ride

 

Watch out for the cops, I hear they are really bad this timeof year. And as far as the forum problems, it is really easy to post without errors, you just have to try 7 or 8 times.

 

Yes, the cops are bad there this year. Make sure you stay under 30mph in the dragon!!! They will write you a ticket for 31mph!

 

uh yeah watch out for jack @ss cops on hte dragon. sory to any good cops that are on here but i have heard alot of f-ed up ****e about tennessee cops on 129. the dragon is hella dangerous too with trucks n stuff. have fun and ride safe... try not to get a ticket
