Default First Bike Owner!

well I used to sport tune cars for many years.. several cars.. many many 10's of thousands of dollars thrown down a drain. Yet, was still fun and enjoyable days.

Anyways.. significant others always flipped out when I wanted to get a bike. So finally after ending my most recent long term relationship.. motorcycle permit and now CBR F4i.

Oddly it's more difficult than I imagined... I think it's the height issue that slightly shorter than average and the ***** of my feet don't touch the ground. But the bike already has a Two Brothers exhaust, K&N and several bolt on mods.. So it's got some umph.. (at least IMO). Even after owning for a mere 2 days I've already checked most the fluids, reorganized the mess of wires near the battery, sealed it (so water doesn't enter near the battery), and power buffed, waxed, and polished everything possible.

Anyways.. Hello all..

Welcome to the forum.

It's now going to be hard for you to even ride in a car!

Where do you come to us from?

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Bikes are as - if not more - obsession creating than cars. I rallied for many years, but always had a bike in the background to satisfy the riding urges.

Good luck with your new purchase, it sounds as though you've got the bug already!

Cheers, SB

I've ordered 3 things today already.. The nice thing about bikes are the parts are less expensive and it seems are easier to install (at least compared to today's cramped auto engine compartments).

I do want to get comfortable w/ what seems like alot of power before I toss in a PC3 and do some tuning..
