Thumbs up First bike and new to the forum

Just bought a 2008 CBR600RR, my first bike and am new to the forum. Hope to get a warm welcome and meet some guys that are down to earth and looking to have a good time.
I was reading up on some previous posts and found a couple of websites for parts.
Transitioning from the dirt to the street and its a whole different world as you all know. Im sure you guys will pick me up and lead me in the right direction.
Will put some pics up soon.
Want to get an Exhaust, intake, and a power commander. And a new SEAT. haha Heard that would be a good start? Any suggestions or recommendations... websites to save a little maybe? Thanks, Andrew.

Welcome to CBRF Andrew!! A 600RR is one heck of a first bike. Sounds like you have some dirt bike experience though, so at least you should know the basics. Even so, you still might consider taking some sort of MSF course to hone your road skills. It is a totally different ballgame out there on the streets and you need every advantage that you can get.

Check out the 600RR section for all of your 600RR needs and don't forget to post up those pics of your new bike. Take care and enjoy the forums.

Thanks guys.
I am actually in the military so I am having to take the safety courses and all that before I can ride. They have a pretty good program going on making sure they keep us safe
I put some pics up. Thanks again for the welcoming.

free motorcycle lisences are always good now in florida (if i wasnt in the army) I'd have to pay over $300 to take the course. Can't wait to get home from the dust bowl.
