Just a Question
I am married *to another forum member txn_driver* and just recently started riding. I think it's a great way for us to be togethe without having to worry about anything. We have a lot of other stressors right now between his family and my education-so somedays, we just like to drop everything and ride, it certainly eases the tension to a bearable point again.
My husband got me into riding. He has been riding for years and I have always been the passenger. I never thought I could do it and just this last weekend we did the same thing...went down to the shop to look and bought one for me. I am so glad we did. He has been the best teacher and very encouraging. I was so scared to ride on my own, but wouldn't go back to a being a passenger if you paid me. It's great fun for a couple to go out together. We are planning our first "mileage" ride in the next few weeks. Live in Oregon so have to wait for the right weather. Ride down to the beach for lunch, can't wait!
i used to ride on the back of my bfs. i loved it so much, eventually i got my own. i love riding with him- and he loves that i ride.
btw i call my bike owlie. i have a f4i and for some reason i think the frontlooks like owl eyes. lol.. and he is a he!! damnit!!

Sorry for posting in the Ladies Lounge, but I can relate to the topic. I am recently single and enjoy riding very much. I enjoy riding by myself...getting lost on some road somewhere with no worries or concerns. It is my therapy. You do not need to be in a relationship to enjoy life or riding. Find your passion and go with it. Meet new friends or aquantances who share your same interests. It will make your next relationship that much more enjoyable.
