Significant Others - riders or non-riders?

RE: Significant Others - riders or non-riders?
Welcome!
Both my husband and I are stubborn. We each ride our own. I can count on one hand how times I have passengered with him and him with me. Usually happens when we are dropping off/picking up one of the STs at the shop. The only bikes I currently do major work because of warranties.

I was into riding about 7-8 years ago but didn't have a bike and then got out of it, fell back into it with a job and 2 weeks after I left that job, bought myself a bike. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for a while and he didn't want me to get a bike. I've now had mine for two years and he bought his about 9 months ago... Now I run a motorcycle shop, and that's all we both do.

I got my ex into riding and now she has her own 06 Kawisaki 636 with a few extra goodies. Now I dont even have a bike cause I sold it because i was being an idiot on it. Got me into to much trouble but she still rides just fine. Doesnt rip around corners or do wheelies or anything like that but she can hold her own while riding. I was really proud when she started riding on her own.

I actually got into riding because of my parents. They both have been riding sport bikes for 10 yrs at the time. I had just gotten divorced and wanted to start enjoying life. Met my husband riding and ever since we have both had a few bikes everything from an old Honda to a Kawasaki zx14 each. Went to the HD for a short time and just bought 2 CBR's mine is a 600 and his is a 1000. My husband was so down when we had the harleys that I knew we had to get back to sport bikes. I did miss the power of a sport bike. It was very hard to pass a car on a harley. It's so much fun to have a spouse that rides with me.
