What RU Drinking right now ?
Right now a cup of tea. Darjeeling, two sugars & black.
Friday night I had an amazingly vivid dream about having a pint down the pub which made me realise just how rarely I go these days. So after my shift on saturday I bought a bottle of Bombardier's burning gold.
All you whiskey drinkers make me jealous! I like the taste of it but I always feel as rough as a badger's backside the next day.

We have a lady in the Saloon ?
Watch your language boys.............
Wot no Earl Grey there Butchers pencil....?
Nice cuppa, Darjeeling, from high up in the hills as I recall........?
If you feel like a badger's on good Scotch you should try some of our local Old Brown Sherry - gawd - I drank too much of it at a bike rally - then had to ride home in 4C temps, and wet. NEVER AGAIN

Lol. Lady. Indeed
I think Earl Grey tastes pretty poor really but well done on your tea trivia! Darjeeling is from the high hills of India; tucked between Nepal and Bhutan. It's my favourite but I will drink pretty much anything if offered a cuppa
The word 'sherry' brings back too many hideous drunken Christmas memories, and the 'old' and 'brown' don't help it's appeal. What was it like? I'm guessing it had notes of industrial paint stripper, with perhaps a lingering napalm flavour?
I've drunk some nasty stuff in the past. Usually thanks to university nights out to be honest. Being forced to drink a pint of Cheddar Valley cider became a punishment on one field trip (I can't understand how or who actually buys it for enjoyment), and cheap vodka is horrific. The worst I saw was whilst holding a lass's hair back; the bottle of red wine and multiple pints of guiness she'd drunk were coming back up. It looked like arterial spray! That's what I got for going out on the town with Leicester uni's women's rugby team

Let's just say that Old Brown Sherry is very warming after a cold ride - no, not much like paint stripper or napalm, but drink too much of it and , well you get the picture.
We do have Cane spirit here, clear colour like gin, made from cane sugar, not anything like rum though. It's best drunk with Coke, or something fizzy. Again, same rules apply if you overdo it
It's cheap plonk and quite effective
Tea's always good, never mind what, really, Darjeeling and Earl Grey are imported here so most of us drink 5 Roses (Those that don't drink coffee) then there's Rooibos - local tea grown here, a bit of an acquired taste though. Good with lemon and a spoon of sugar.
Don't talk about Cyder - I drank a couple of pints of Scrumpy in a West Country pub and couldn't move my legs......................
Bloody LETHAL lol

Your cane juice sounds like it might make a good Caipirinha, the national cocktail of Brazil. Careful though, they go down easy

Picked up some cheap beer yesterday at work. It was being discontinued so it was down to 60p for a pack of four so with my 10% staff discount on top too it was dirt cheap.
Animee Beer by Molson Coors Brewery. I'd never heard of it before and it's only 4%, but at that kind of price I was game to give it a go.
Barely tastes of anything but not in an unpleasant way, kind of like a less flavourful Corona Extra. I wouldn't pay full price for it as it's nothing to write home about, but I'd drink it again if it was offered.

^ Heh, can think a vision of you riding home behind a fence and all I can see is 4 feet tall tower of those packs balancing on the back seat
All depends who you ask Woofer

You'd get one answer from me (the correct one by the way)
& a different one from my old pal KenG
( which he'd claim was correct) But the fact you were given LondonDerry well - lol - I'd stick with that

Oh and right now I'm having a hot Toddy with Paddy's Irish Whiskey
got it in Derry
lol
