It's a crap system Hawk, but not difficult to sort.New tensioner and chain will set you back around 140 GBP but then good for ages, if you do them both same time.Don't be cheap like me and do one and not the other, but if you do, then sort the tensioner first. I didn't and lived with rattles all the time, even with a new chain....
DID make a cc with a masterlink which makes the job do-able with the engine in place as you know ......

Some small spaces with doors in the fairing like the RF900 would be great, and my wet gear needs a place to live..................maybe make a rear seat hump...............

And yes, Troutlet (you're not a grownup Trout yet) he he sometimes you make sense...................a rare and special commodity in the young of the Tribe....hehehe What do they call you guys papooses ? hehehe

Nothing really.

I too would like to have some storage.

The previous owner put on the aftermarket exhaust can and that leaves the fairings with no attachments at the lower/rear. So they kind of wobble.

I'd like to rig something to make that stop. Let me know if you have any ideas or if there is a known fix.

(1) I push to cancel also but that is where the problem is. I sometimes hit the horn. It is very embarrassing.

(2) I do at times wish it was shaft driven.

(3) I have ridden many bikes and the 1kF leaves not much to be desired.
Oh! My pillion is empty. Yep! That's #3, I need a female on the pillion.

Pillions just cramp your style!

Turning circle and weight used to bother me but I'm used to both now. I'm careful where I park so I don't have to bust a gonad (not Buster Gonad from Viz ) backing out and the weight comes in handy when the weather turns nasty...all in all there's nothing major I don't like. Only thing is it's a bit lumpy just off idle in traffic but there's not too much of that here. Storage would have been nice but a good Gearsack sorted that too.
