Yeah...... crap turning circle when you're crawling along at snails pace.
I can't really say I hate anything about the bike except for the fact that it's off the road right now. I'm about to do major engine surgery as yet another rattle has started from deep within.
I can feel a new thread coming on....
Oh yeah, one more thing I do hate is bloody exhaust studs that sheer off. Bugger!!!!!

Hmmm , actually there is one more thing ....
The way the bug guts goes up the front screen vents and splatters way down low on the inside of the screen and top of the dash ...
Its ...HARD as chit to clean it out !!

Right on Bro!Thats the way, also the rain does the same thing,up & under & sits above the instrument panel lights ,teasing you.

*Indicators....WTF?

1.. the clips that go under the tank when you are putting the seat on are fiddly
2.. a lot of steering pull on it on mini roundabouts
3.. no hazzard switch
4..

heavy,, doesn't bother me
indicators, don't ya just push the button in and they return to centre
bugs, cheap silicone spray lashed on thick over the front panneld and fork legs before a run,and they rub off clean. (keep away from the tyres)

Hey steve, so you have to manually click the indicator back to the center position? Have you always had to do that? Mine is one of the ones where the switch sits in the center while the blinker is on, and push it in like a button to turn it off.
I know many of the older bikes were like that. In fact, I think Kawi just changed the switch on the KLR in '08 to the new style....

As far as what I don't like... definitely the low speed turning radius is #1. PITA when u-turning on a tight road.

The kickstand I actually like. Other bikes I've had with more vertical stands tend to want to roll or tip easier.

Bug splatter, you're right.. that sucks.

Another thing I wish the bike had was a "trunk" compartment. Always wanted that for small things. No big deal, though.

Things I dislike are:-

1. Difficulty of changing cam chain and the rattle (and other chain/internal rattles).

2. No clock (would like a built in one and maybe a volt-meter).

3. Inaccuracy of fuel gauge.

These are only ****les , don't put me off at all.

Hawk, I hear ya.
The CC thing is kind of a pain (in quite a few hondas, though), but mine still seems to be doing ok.

Don't mind the rattle , mine ain't too bad and goes when warm , but couldn't they have designed a better system , a manual one or at least one that's easily accessible?
