Speaking for the guys here, we couldn't care if you're a dyslexic Mongolian with 6 toes, a third eye and a lisp.....................
If you ride a Hurricane, that's good enough for us !
Welcome to the gang !
Visit often and let us know how the rebuild comes along !
Oh and a sense of humour is a requirement, here......!!!

Hey Gang-
Just rode home my '94 CBR1000F yesterday evening...what a feeling! She's a hog, but a fast, sexy one (just how I like 'em).
Great shape with 24k on the clock. Brakes are pulsing a bit, the forks may be the slightest bit out of whack (though it's hard to imagine why given that she clearly hasn't ever been down), and she's pretty mushy on the bumps - prolly cuz of her fat *** and not a setup problem - but the engine seems strong and I feel great about the purchase - $2250US.
My first bike was an '88 Hurricane, and I've owned 2 '95 F3's (which both got stolen), another '88 hurricane (heap), and a variety of small to medium displacement track bikes. Feels good to be on a more substantial ride, even if it's not [nearly] as nimble.
Glad to have found this forum, too!
Happy Riding,
Andre
