Thanks guys! I worked for 3 hours today just cleaning her up. After removing all the dirt, grime and road dirt from the bike, I was amazed at how good of condition she was in. the wear and tear is very minimal for a 15 year old bike and she is totally stock and production. It's amazing to find a bike of this age in such good condition.
I have a few questions. I purchased a new chain today. Should I replace the sprockets as well? And if so, are you guys using something other than stock sizes? And if so why? Thanks for your wonderful insight on this big beautiful old bike. However, mine still looks like I rolled her off the show room floor! LOL!
Also, I am planning to slide on a pair of Dunlop D220 sport touring tires next week. I'm most familiar with Dunlop. Is there another brand and model of tire you guys would recommend for a comfortable, safe and long distance ride? Thanks for everyone's input. I really appreciate it.
