You will find that this is the friendliest forum on the net. Great group of guys. Very understanding, interested and supportive. And usually pretty entertaining too!

Yeah, we have those too. The dogs don't seem to mind a bit of no.4 shot.

Default Foxy the newbie here

Hello fellow cbrf owners.
Been looking at the site for a few weeks now,and there is lots of good info
i have had mine cbr1000fr for a little over 15 months, and thought it needed an overhaul so its in bits at the moment,.

new swing arm bearings (swing arm powder coated)
forks revalved new springs and oil
rear shock (hagon)
plugs,oil and filter,k&n filter
chain and sprockets
pads all round
new frontpipes
2 new tyres
then it gets carbs synced(bought a carbtune)
oh and a damn good clean in all nooks and crannies

Ive had plenty of bikes in the past, from my first a matchless g2 been thru the zx9/10/12r era, even had an 1100 and 1500 goldwing.
To be fair i only bought the cbrf to go to bike rallies on, but that has changed i love it toured ireland last may on it after watching the nw 200
and now its a keeper.....looks like i had been missing what some of you chaps have been enjoying for years.

Default New member/Old bike

Glad I found this forum! I have a Hurrican that was gifted to me, a roller and 4 BIG boxes of parts.

I have cleaned the carbs, and the bike wants to run on carb cleaner, but I can't seem to get fuel to the carbs from the tank!!!

I have looked in the service and maintenance manuals, but I cant find the fuel pump on the electrical diagram! It definitely isn't turning on either with the key or when dranking.

Any chance someone might have some insight?

Thanks for ayn help you can offer...
