Well Teeks everyone knows just one bike is too many if you were to actually have
the scenario where you had to make justifications in the first place .......lol
Carbs, tank and any fuel related lines and pumps will be the first thing stripped off.
There's a whole very simplified routine for the belts to be replaced - not a bit worried
about that at all.
Up early tomorrow for the long trek to go an get this in Acworth NH - 6 hrs rnd trip
on the road at 7 should be back for Turkey sammiches by 1pm
Thanks for the link there - Pete but I found these Gates Belt's - good reputation a bit
cheaper too I'll prolly be looking for two new adjuster/tensioners too
Well here she is on the "Transporter" think I'll call her Samantha almost like her Uncle lol
Up close shes not as purty - lots of rusty chrome and oxidized metal - this will take the winter

Seb, once again I like that guys style. I'm thinking thou' that an R6 would probably much a more useable (?) platform for an adventure bike. Maybe graduate to R1 after a couple of years.
Good thoughts thou', maybe a bit of long term planning might be starting to germinate on this side of the pond.
Note to self: must check out sometime how hard it would be to fit a VFR engine into an XR frame.

Funny you should mention that TK. I have a spare VFR400 motor sitting there - I had intended to put it in a Morini frame, but no go, so.............. looking for something to stick it into.
Just love the sound of those gear driven cams.

I do believe it is a love of (most) two wheeled motorised transportation machines with Honda's products at the top of the pyramid
