Mrs.Woof in sort of a roundabout way suggested that maybe I should never run for public office

Mrs. Ham would forbid it with me. There's not a big enough graveyard around to hold all the skeletons that would come out

You guys are sittin' pretty at #7.. One more sure win and the bye. Then it looks like tough sledding. Really tough sledding. Play well and you could be playoff bound.

Seems to me that some of the Tiger's stumbles in the past couple years was to have a good foundation for Nix this year . You guys might be peaking at
just the right time.

Yes. Things aren't look shabby at all right now. But like you said, the rest of the season will be a hard earned win each time. Having said that, I'd rather have a lose in the schedule by playing tough teams that a W by playing noncompetitive schools. As long we the guys stay healthy things will stay positive.

How are your dogs fairing so far?

Good point. Strength of schedule should work in your favor in the case of a loss.

Dawg's jumped up to 15 after beating USC. We got Stanford next week. Pac 12's a strange place. We have a bunch of teams in the second 15. But then an un-ranked like Arizona State will show up and ruin your party. Like they did to 'Cal.

Just barely. That was some game. Gus out coached Saban that is for sure. Man oh man there's a different feeling in the air today. The wife and I went out to eat last night after the game. The restaurant where we ate usually requires you to wait around 30 minutes for a table. After the mighty crimson tide fell, it was just us and one other couple in the entire place.

I figure you'd be out today shopping for a new chair, because you wore the edge off the old one yesterday

It's the least talked about game today. The majority of the state are Bama fans soooooo there's not much for them to say. Well there are those that say we cheated or that the refs suck, blah blah blah.
