Coach Peterson is disappointing, but he needs a blow. Urban Meyer did it due to health reasons and came back. Stoops and Herm Edwards took time off. He's handing off to a good assistant who'll build on defense. Coach Pete's well loved and respected around here. He'll be around as a mentor..He'll get back in the game in his own time. In his press conference he quoted some Eastern philosopher.

Hey there my friend. It is definitely interesting right about now. It doesn't look like we will be able to face each other this year. The good news for me is that my Boilermakers will go undefeated this year.
I thought about you the other day. I hope you are staying safe up there and not impacted by the fires.

 

So far, so good in my corner of the state. Air quality is horrible. An entire town in eastern Washington got wiped out. 10% of Oregon's population was under evacuation orders California's burning up. It's bad but, maybe not as bad as the folks in Oz had it last year

 

I saw a meme the other day that said, “I am ready for some precesdented time.”

They say that the air quality on the west coast is the worst of the entire planet. I feel for you guys.

 

I'm hundreds of miles from the any fire but the smoke up here just hangs like a mist in the trees

Everything is pretty good my way. We’ve had a miserably hot summer but other than that no complaints. We are in the middle of hurricane season with no real storms thus far

My family is all healthy and still have their jobs so I’d say we are blessed.

We have a marine system moving in the next couple days that'll bring some much needed pre-cip. Problem is that it's pushing Oregon smoke up in front of it, but air quality will improve by the end of the weekend.
