Not bloody likely...….

Honestly, I can't say with any confidence how the game will go one way or the other. They are ranked pretty closely, but the 1st game of the year is always an interesting thing unless you're playing some D2 team. I've always wondered what those freshman must be feeling walking out onto the field for the 1st time with 87,000+ screaming people looking at them. It's got to be even more unnerving for the visiting freshman.

War Eagle!!

Years ago I was working as a tool and die maker in a factory that made car antennas. The production lines were set up with long lines of benches facing the toolroom. There were about 150 women working on the floor facing the toolroom door where I was constantly entering and exiting. Every time I left the toolroom and entered the floor, there were 300 eyes on me. Maybe something like that!

I would say good game, but it wasn't. Two top10 ranked teams looked pretty bad. Way too many stupid penalties, even for the first game. They both need ti step it up or they will drop below the top 25 after a few weeks.

I will say that your QB looks pretty good. And that young man Jordan will be in the NFL someday.

I didn't realize this was the 1st time we've played each other.
