Indicator / Flasher Globe Front Replace - CBR1000F-K
Indicator / Flasher Globe Front Replace - CBR1000F-K.
Seems quick easy job - 5 minutes.
Then you find you cant get to the globe - looks like you'll have to remove the fairings!
Here is the answer. Dont remove the fairings.
Face front of bike.
Left hand for right indicator globe. (right hand for left indicator globe).
Hand under fairing and you can just unscrew the globe holder. No, the wires wont let you drop it down so you can see it to replace it! Silly isn't it.
Look at the picture attached and remove / replace globe by turning the globe holder with your fingers; keeping the globe static in the palm of your hand.
So yep, you can replace in 5 minutes with a little knowhow.
