Video: Strange sound on CBR 600 F2 -94
Hey guys.
First time poster but been lurking around for some time now. Am from Sweden btw.
I have noticed a strange sound coming from the engine on my above mentioned bike. It only appears when I start the bike and the engine is warm. It doesnt appear after I ridden it and I let the engine idle. I have to shut the engine off and on for it to appear. Never appears when engine is cold. Bike ussualy starts fine with a bit of choke needed sometimes. Rides and revs perfect. Never had any problems. Only thing is a bit irregular idle sometimes.

Sound is most noticable on the right side.
From what I read the cam chain tensioner seems to be the weak link on this bike and I think mine is original, atleast its an automatic one from what I saw when I peaked. Could it be the problem or is there something else wrong? Valves maybe?
Thank you guys for having a look.

As far as cam chain tension goes you can adjust it and see what happens. If the noise bothers you that much you can check and make sure your "IN" and "EX" are aligned properly and that might fix it. There is a portion in the book for servicing this specific problem. F2's and F3's are known to make odd noises.
