What's up guys. Got a 600rr and it's only got around 800 miles on it right now. Almost everytime I ride tho, there's a slight rattling/vibrating noise on the tank. Right in front of the tank lid. Happens mostly around 5-6000 rpms. When I press down on it with just 1 or 2 figners riding, it stops. I'm wondering is there anything I can do to get rid of the vibrating sound? I talked to the dealer, and they said that everything under the tank cover is sealed so it couldn't be anything. That or there isn't much I can do about it. I'm hoping to rid of the sound cause hearing my exhaust with the rattling noise of my tank isn't that sweet.

 

Try to locate where it's coming from. Check your bolts, cables, etc.
