Default Two clicks in cable/lever when pulling in clutch

So when I pull the clutch lever in, there's two little clicks that end up happening - first somewhere around 1/3 of the way in, and the other somewhere around 2/3 of the way in. It seems like it's coming from the cable/lever area, but I haven't gotten the chance to explore or dig deeper.

Has anyone else experienced this before? Could it just be that the cable is sort of binding on something and needs to be lubed up?

1-Make sure the cable isn't frayed. Lubricate the cable.
2-Pull the lever and take a look at the bolt that holds the lever in place, it may be the wrong fastener. It should be a stud with just a thread at the end and not threaded all the way. There's a nut underneath. Remove it first, then undo the stud/bolt with a flathead. Also check for excessive play in the stud holder.

Welcome to motorcycling.

There's riding and there's wrenching. Get to love both.
