clutch cable pulling
hi eveyyone, 1st post on the forum and i just got my first streetbike last week
a (1999 cbr600f4) it seems great in every way!
my problem is when i turn my bars completely to the left to lock my handlebars my clutch cable gets pulled pretty hard and makes a pretty sharp turn on the cable by the lever. i have noticed some clutch cables have metal tubing around the base of the clutch cable giving a nice gradual bend. does anyone know if my bike came stock with one of those metal tube pieces? and/or if the honda replacement cable (Honda Code 6082564) would have that tubing on it?
i havent tried to see if i could make any slack from the underneath yet but, i have a feeling this is an aftermarket cable and is just cheap and maybe a tad short.
