Turbos on bikes, which one????
Im just curious which turbos most people use to put on a bike. Ive got an f4i, and so does my buddy. hes kind of throwing around the idea of putting a turbo on it. What size would you use? Ive heard some people talk about using eclipse turbos.
And, I dont want anyone coming in saying just to get a litre bike, or why would you turbo a 600. If so, leave.

I was searching the web for something about an F4i with a turbo and didnt find anything about it. I did find a DIY site though. He was saying to go to a junkyard and grab a turbo off an eclipse. He suggested that one cause it has an internal waste gate. Let me know if he decides to do it or not. Id like to see the results. I love to stick a turbo on mine but I cant afford it right now.

My Busa ran an Eclipse turbo and it spooled up nicely and had excellent linear/predictable power. But that's with 1300 cc's ... I'm not sure a 600 would put out enough exhaust to spool it up very quickly. And if you added a spacer to reduce compression the spool time would be even worse. I don't know of any peeps that have turbo'd a 600 but damn if that wouldn't be a hell of a sleeper[8D]

the wastegate may be there but it must be modified as 9 psi or so is a lil high
