Tire question
Ok guys I got another one for you lol. It may be a stupid question but I would like to think I'm right on this one lol. What way is the rotation arrow supposed to go on a tire? Shouldn't the rotation be towards the front of the bike? I just got the tires put on my rims the other day and was looking at it, if the rims were on the bike right now it looks like the rotation arrow would be pointing to the back of the bike, do I need to take them back? (actually I probably wouldn't take them back to that shop, I'd probably take them to a different one lol)
The arrow points in the direction the wheel goes in. Bikes go forward, so the arrow faces that way. Its so they don't put em on the wrong way (or its supposed to anyway).
If not, take em back or go to someones who knows wot their doing.

Isn't it amazing how someone can mount a directional tire wrong? Specially a motorcycle tire! It just blows my mind. BTW, some rims have arrows on them also which should match the arrow on the tire.
If you look at the arrow while the tire is rotated so the arrow is on the top of the tire, it should face the front of the bike. If the tire is rotated so the arrow is on the bottom of the tire, the arrow will face towards the back of the bike.
keep in mind, on most tires. the front tires tread pattern will look backwards to the rear tread pattern. Its just the way they are.

The front one is just like you mentioned, but the back one isn't. The guy was having trouble balancing the back one and took the tire back off. I believe when he did that he didn't look at the arrows and just put it back on wrong. Thanks for proving I'm not too crazy lol
I used to work at this garage in Pittsburgh as a tire changer and I always wandered if people ever mounted the tire on backwards, and I sure caught myself a couple times before I made the mistake but never put on one the car backwards..My brother on the other hand (which is 2 years older than me) worked at the garage when I was finishing up my school and he managed to put all 4 tires on the car back wards!! Maybe he was just confused with the arrows or something but damn man! He worked there for a while, he should no better.

If you rotate a tire that is fitted backwards so that the arrows are at the bottom of the wheel , they actually point forward...
This bloody twitt argued that because the arrow was pointing forward in this position , the tire was on correct!!

friggin ding dong!!!Needles to say I stood my ground and told this guy in no uncertain terms that he was a bloody ******** and insisted he change it again !!
I never went back to that shop
