Stiff shifter
Alright well I have a 96' F3. All of a sudden the shifter become VERY stiff. I put a new clutch lever on, went to start it to adjust it. When I went to shift down into 1st I noticed it was VERY hard to push down. You basically had to stomp on it to get into 1st. I adjusted the lever & the clutch seems to disengage & engage fine. When I tried shifting in to 2 & up it was the same thing, very stiff. I had to use my hand to shift it since it was to hard to do with your foot.
I am boggled at to what it could be. At first I thought the clutch was engaging all the way but the bike takes off fine. Any pointers or feedback as to what it could be? TIA!
EDIT:
After messing with it some more. It will barley go into 1st. neutral is fine & it goes into 2-3. I can't seem to get it into any other gears. Any help is appreciated!
