My son recently purchased a 2005 CBR600RR and now after he rides the bike for for a bit and shuts it off it doesn't want to start back up. I checked the battery and it's at 12.6 with nothing turned on, 12.12 key turned on, 13.80 at idle and 14.20 at 4000-5000 rpm. I checked the stator wires and they were good and checked the rectifier/regulator and all the connectors read the same but I don't know what the exact factory number should be. The bike will turn over a couple of times and then stop but the battery will still read 12.6. I can push start it or if I jump it it will start. I'm at a loss for what to check next. Has anyone ever had this problem?
