Stalling when raining

Hi guys

My CBR 900 stalls as soon as it starts to rain, but when I turn the fuel reserve switch on, it stops stalling. Anyone knows why ?

Has this been a repeat thing? Maybe coincidence that you needed to go into reserve at the same time it started to rain? I cannot think of an explanation for that problem.
