My buddy just got a 2002 CBR 954RR. When he first got it, it ran great at all speeds. 2 days afterwards, when under around 40, it starts to sputter. When coming to a stop, it sometimes dies. It ldles at 900, just changed the spark plugs, and ran 3 lucas injector cleaners through it so far. Any other ideas?

 

Maybe the plugs aren't gapped correctly? I believe they should be gapped to 0.8-0.9mm (0.03-0.04in). But last time I checked most plugs came pre-gapped.

 

check simple stuff like the plugs but also the coils could have a good spark plug but if its not gettin good juice to it it wont spark correctly, also might want to check the fuel filter and air filter make sure no gunk is somewhere it shouldnt be
