Just looking to get a feel on what some people's opinions are on the whole security system idea. I was planning to get the Scorpio SE alarm ontop of the disk lock I have. Is it worth having an alarm and is this a good choice? Thanks

 

I am most likely going to get one tommorow. I have heard that they are the best alarms out there for bikes. I figured it gives me peace of mind and is about the same cost as my deductable so why not. Stays hidden and is water resistant to..

 

I had the scorpio on a previous bike. I guess it worked, cuz it never got stolen. lol

best investment i've ever made for my bike! i have the perimeter sensor on mine as well. at first it got annoying...so i turned the sensitivity down. i chain (pretty heavy duty...or at least i thought) my bike up to a pole also. one night someone cut my chain off... i'm assuming that the perimeter sensor finally went off and scared them away when they got close enough. now i crank up the sensitivity to where you get within the parking space it will go off (annoying...but worth not having your bike stolen).

in the end....i'm really glad i have my alarm. worth every penny...plus gives you piece of mind.

I just bought one of the InterNatrix alarms. I tested everything out and so far like it alot. I will have it on the bike this week!!!!
