Hey guys im looking into getting a scorpio alarm, but i do not know if the oem wires you but for extra will be the same. Scorpio only sells them for RR series and F4i no F4. I was curious if F4i harness is the same as f4 is that why? ANy help would be great thanks guys! ALso is it hard to install? and what type of security should iget with it?

 

this probably isn't as robust as what you are attempting, but its what i use. its a basic disc brake lock, but with an alarm. if you move the disc lock at all, it will signal a pretty loud alarm for 15 seconds at 120Dbs! i think its a great deterrent when i park in public areas.

Done 2 alarm installs, one on my f3 and one on my f4i. The hardest thing on both bikes was the only wire that needed to be cut for the ignition kill. Iirc scorpio has a couple options for that: kill switch, fuel pump and the ignition.

If you bought it already, post up the wire diagram and the f4's diagram. We can prolly figure it out.

 

i put a autopage alarm off ebay on my f4 got it for 60 bucks shipped its got two way remote tilt n shock sensor, i went through the starter fuse wires for the kill switch. i pulled the rear fairing and hooked in to all my lights there it doesnt come with a siren but im gonna add one so i dont have to run wires to the horn.
