I used Rotella T in my truck it had 1.4 million miles on the engine before the transmission went out...
The engine was still good and showed little wear, I was going to push it to 1.5 million before rebuilding the engine. I changed the oil every 12,000 to 15,000 miles. Always had the oil analysis done, the shop did it for free since they ran the engine without any oil in it at one time. I trust Rotella T....

Yeah, rotella stands up really well to my KLR650, too. (where many other oils fall short in testing) In fact, there was a joke going around about one of the thumper engine builders loving it so much that he ate it on his pancakes.
The stuff isn't "magic"... it's just a really good oil with no BS marketing and it costs a lot less. And it's been proven by many people over the years.
Between Rotella and Mobil 1, I don't run much else. (unless castrol GTX goes on sale for $10/gal. I've run a lot of that in cars. )

The T6 would be a great oil to run. Better than name brand dino oils and about the same price.
Curious as to what you "were" running in it? Not that it really matters. If it was a dino oil, then yeah... T6 would be better for it.
Another one to consider would be the Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 high mileage (HM has some seal conditioners in it)
Mobil 1 is a real robust synthetic oil that's only $21 for 5qts at wally world right now.

Around 107K i noticed the seals starting to leak so i took it in for a expensive tune up. lol
Around 1500.00 for all the work listed above.

I think I'll try the T6 next in my F2. A lot cheaper than paying $10/qt for Mobil 1 4cy 10w40. I wish I had known you can run this stuff in these bikes before I bought it.

Rotella T (Dino) and CBR600
I have used Rotella T in a diesel engine for years...a great oil. Now, I want to try it in my 2002 CBR600F4i. This engine has only 1600 miles on it. Does anyone see any problems with this idea? From what I can gather on this forum, there is virtually no difference between Rotella T and generic motorcycle oil. Do I have this right?

Use Rottella T6, not to be confused with Rottela T; although, i think you can use that too. T6 is synthetic 5w-40-----acts like 5w when its cold, and 40 when its hot. Also RIGHT NOW the T6 is MA rated, i dont think the T is; i did call Rottela up when i checked into this Rottella business awhile back and the guy said that the T would pass a MA Test, its just has not been test/rated for MA.

About 3 years ago I was talking to a buddy that still owns his 1984 Kawi 750 Turbo that he bought brand new. Use a good cheap oil rated in the correct weight, (no energy conserving markings on the bottle) and change it every 2K miles. Changing the Oil and filters often are cheap insurance. You don't want to crack open the engine because your cheap. He uses Castrol for $12 at Walmart. His bike now has 110K miles.
