Default Restoration of metal tabs for routing wires .... ?

Not sure what they're called but I've ringed what I mean in red in the attached picture. This is the fan unit from my CXBR900RRN but the tabs are on many/most bikes. The thing is they're a flexible metal tab welded at one end with the rest covered in plastic where it bends over the wires to keep them from hitting something. The fan in this case.

Anyone know a) what the correct term for them is and b) can you get new plastic sheaths for them?

Trying to restore the fan unit as there's nothing wrong with it otherwise but this looks like it could be 'problematic'. I have ideas about using a tie-mount and cable tie if I can't restore it to look something like new but any information gratefully received.

Thanks

What about using something like this? Not sure what colors it come is, but if the underlaying metal is ok and it's just the coating, I think it would work.

Top find! Never knew this product existed. I've contacted them regarding resistance to petrol, though it's probably OK, and they even have a UK address.
Cheers.

Boy, then you're in for a surprise. People paint their cars with this stuff. When you don't like it anymore, you just peel it off. Naturally its not as thick of a coat that you're wanting to achieve, but essentially the same.

I saw that. Who'd have thunk it ......... Their website shows a push bike getting done as well. Maybe I'll do the car in bright pink or something whilst the wife is out ... though maybe not - I want to see out the next few years in reasonable health ...

BTW: they got back and said that petrol should be OK if wiped off reasonably quickly but would degrade the surface if left. Should be fine then.

hello there, everyone
real estate istanbul
Why don't you try something like this? I'm not sure what colors it comes in, but I think it might work if the underlaying metal is fine and it's just the paint.
