Question/Help?.. Lowering The Front
Hey Everybody!
i'm new to this.. so i don't really know what i'm doin haha!
i got an 05 CBR1000. i just lowered the rear about 1 1/2", but i'm not sure how to do the front.. so any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

All you should have to do is loosen the four bolts (i think just 4) on the triple tree. Slide the forks down to whatever setting you want and tighten the bolts. Make sure you have a friend with you . I would get a rear stand and use a floor jack to keep the bike upright so when you loosen the front end it doesn't slam on the fender.

what's a steering dynamics?!.. you're freakin me out pacemaker haha! i only dropped it like an inch or maybe less. i hope that's Ok with the steering dynamics thingy i have Ohlins suspensions front & rear. not sure what that has to do with anything but just thought i mention it. hehe! by the way, triax. there were 8 bolts on this thing!!..

It just means the way the bike performs with it's steering reponse, straightline behavior and so on. (I like to use words like "Dynamics" cause it makes me sound educated)
Only wanted to give you a heads up so that as you ride up to your fave "testing ground" and dive into your favourite corner, you don't end up on your ****. Just take it easy till it's sorted.
