I am gonna lower the front of my bike tom. Anybody have any tips on doing this? Thanks for all the help. I am just goin about 1".

 

i lowered my f3 and just did hard turns after adjusting and fine tuned it after

 

how did you go about lowering it? Is it the 2 allen bolts at top and 2 reg. bolts on the lower?

 

i believe so. i had a buddy help me who knew more about it than i did. he did most of it

 

this is my first bike. I like workin on it and learning. Before this I had a bagged s10 with a v-8 that I did all the work on

 

i think there the allens...dont loosen them all i made that mistake

 

I might try it today. Its rainin so prob not doin any riding

 

i had a bagged s-10 before my first bike also

 

easy mod, but when I do it, I suspend my bike with an engine hoist. If you don't have a way to keep the weight of the bike off the front wheel, it could slide the forks through the clamps and then you're going to have a **** ton of fun trying to lift it back up.

 

if you must lower a bike, do so front and rear respectfully. Bikes are not cars or trucks and lowering affects the handling on bikes negatively.
