Default Question about lowering the front end??..

I had a question about the benefit of lowering the front end of your motorcycle. I bought a 2006 CBR600RR almost a month ago and I am almost positive it has been lowered (not stretched). I noticed immediately when I first went to check out the bike and the guy I bought it from said that it was stock and it is just an aggressive looking bike.

Can someone clear this up for me? I have pics of the bike on my page so maybe you can tell me I'm just being crazy or give me some insight as to why someone would lower a front end.

Thanks in advance guys!

Judging by your pictures, the bike looks standard to me. You can see if the front end is lowered on the top yoke. The forks should be out about 2mm.

Reason for lowering the front end, is that the bike will steer in faster. Con is that you lose ground clearance.

pretty sure you should get a lowering link too for the rear. you shouldn't just lower the front forks, it messes with the geometry of the bike
