good tip on the install as long as you know that the power commander is useless without tuning it on the dyno

yea thats another thing I was wondering. Its got a Jardine Dual Outlet Slip-on on it and they have a map on the cd for that set up but ive also been told that its best to create ur own map but i dont know anyone that has a dyno. I was just trying to save a couple hundred bucks by installing it myself but it looks like it might be best just to go ahead and take it to the dealorship because they have a all the stuff to set one up there.

well dont get killed on the install cause it's just plug in play, you just have to get up the nerve to play with your baby's veins. but as far as tuning it i'm sure you can find a shop with a dyno if not wait for a bike show (not bike night) and they usually have a vendor out there that dyno tunes. by all means tho with just the install your bike wont run worse. so install it now but the first chance you get, get it dyno tuned. the upside is if you ride it with out it tuned when it does get tuned you'll really feel it.
