Default oil filter question

can anyone give me the part number for oil filters.... i have a 2002 f4i and my buddy has a 2006 600rr and we were going to change the oil in them tomorrow. if you have it i guess purolater or something along those lines. if you could help me out that be great . thanx

www.motogrid.com get the honda number and have your purolator guy cross it.

Well, the easiest way would just be to go to that website and look it up. For example, type purolator into google and you get the pureoil website which has the mc reference chart.


ML16817 for the F4i
The RR is listed as the same numberfilter up though 2004, so if the Honda filter is the same for the RR in 04 as it is for his 06 then it's the same number.

Autozone or AdvanceAuto parts sells them for about $6 a filter.
