Default Oil Chain

I am needing to lubricate my chain but I don't have a rear stand. Can I just spray and back up and spray and back up..... or does the tire need to go many revolutions after spraying to lubricate properly?

Thanks in advance

as long as you can lube the whole chain, how you do it doesn't really matter. I don't have a stand and that is the way I clean and lube mine, pain in the *** so I think I am going to get a stand this year.

if you are in a bind you can tilt the bike on the kick stand and spin the rear tire and apply the lube. Be careful though it is a little tricky. easy if there are two people.

Yeah as above but make sure you have a mate to help, or your rolling method should work. Lifes 10 times easier with a stand though.

I don't have a stand either. I just tilt the bike toward the left (pivoting on the side stand) which slightly lifts the rear tire off the ground and I place a milk crate under the right side of the swingarm. This raises the rear tire just enough to allow it to spin freely. I plan on making a rear stand soon though, it makes life easier.

My 1000F has a centerstand and I don't spin the tire. Using 6-inch sections, I spray PJ1 Black on the top part of the bottom row of chain until the entire chain is lubed. Then I leave it overnight. The spray seeps onto the O-rings and hardens to a grease. Being sprayed onto the inside of the chain, instead of the outside, it doesn't fling off the next day.

Cool Guys,
I was by myself so I did the spray, backup, spray, backup around the driveway. But it only takes one time of that and when it gets oiled again it will be with a rear stand. I am sure my neighbors laughed at me. (I laugh back when I drive off on the bike though)
