I just picked up a used Power Commander III USB for my CBR F4i '03. I'm looking through the installation instructions on DynoJet's site and notice on the F4i page it says:


NOTE: Optional Oxygen Optimizer is required for California and some oversea's models
NOTE: OPTIONAL Oxygen Optimizer Part #76423005



So the *optional* oxygen optimizer is required for a CA model bike? I do have a CA model bike. The part is only $15 so it's not a big deal, but I was hoping to get this installed this weekend. I'm a little disappointed that It seems that I have to wait for another part to come in the mail. Does anyone know what the oxygen optimizer does exactly?

 

I'm running my o2 sensor as is and don't notice a difference,I do have the o2 eliminator but have not installed it yet.I'll try it later.
