I'm looking at buying a bike but there is a small problem stopping me. The owner says he will drive it around no problems and then the temp gauge will show that its over heating. It usually happens after he comes to a stop and then takes off again, the needle shoots up to the red zone. He pulls in the clutch and then the needle goes back to normal. He says the bike never cuts off. Anyone else experience this? Is this a gauge problem or an ECT problem?
