whats the exact temp (in numbers) when its on 1/4 or half way til red on the analog gauge? I mean i really would like to know about what temp my motor is when its at half way point or 3/4 on the gauge.

 

is there no one to have any info on this?

Please exercise some patience. You only waited a whopping 64 minutes b/f asking again. Contrary to what some believe, the forum isn't a 24/7 customer service line obligated to answering technical information. Instead, its a gathering place where like minded enthusiasts gather to socialize & help *when & if* they can.

To that, it will be difficult for anyone to give you exact numbers on temps w/ the analog temp gauge on the F4. The best recommendation I can give you is to do your research in the F4i Section. The F4 & F4i are remarkably similar in operational temp. There is temp data in that section to answer your questions sufficiently.

 

mine runs half to 3/4 of the way up.. if you get ambitious, you can find out the 'on' and 'off' temps for the fan.. put some masking tape on the side of the gauge sweep.. when the fan comes on.. mark it. thats the 'on' temp.. when it turns off, mark it.. thats the 'off' temp.. the bottom is '0'.. then you can get some approximate temps..

Fan Motor Switch:
ON - 98-102 C (208-216 F)
OFF - 93-97 C (199-207 F)

guess i'll have to go buy a digital temp reading device to get the info i need. ive noticed on here a lot of people getting different "normal operating temps" , cant go buy what ive seen on here so far. thought it might save me some time and money to ask...never know til ya ask right. thanks again every one. glad to be part of this site.

mine runs 1/3 of the way so the fan rarely kicks in but I use water wetter and the like.
