Default Not sure if stupid

I upgraded my rear suspension recently to a penske shock and Im keeping my eye out looking for the front end. Now I would love to slap on a pair of ohlins forks but I just don't have $2.5k burning a hole in my pocket especially since I spent less getting my bike. I have a 600 F4 it has 43mm forks, now hypothetically speaking, if I had $2.5k to spend on my front suspension and there was not another thing I could think of spending it on like track days, a racing license, fresh tires, a set of tire warmers or beer; could I swap my forks with any other set of forks as long as they were 43mm??? Say like the ones ohlins makes for the new Ducati Panigale S??? Just curious. Man, what i would do 2.5k

Why not as long as the internals suit the weight of the bike. I have a Ducati 998 front end on my NC30 and it is awesome.
