no power
I have a honda cbr600f4 that I am currently rebuilding. I am not getting any power so the bike will not start. I checked all of the wiring and it is good. I checked the HT coil and it is also good. Does any one have a suggestion as to what the problem could be.
Battery and fuses... particularly the main fuse.
Follow the + battery cable to a connector and a main fuse. Check that if you haven't already.
Also, if you haven't downloaded a manual, I would.

Start with the battery and go from there. What I mean is, make sure the battery has a charge on it. I don't have a wiring diagram for your bike, but most of the Honda's I seen have a large (usually 30a) fuse located right next to the battery as a part of the starter relay. If that's blown, the bike will have no power at all. What exact year is your bike ?
thanks man. But Ive done all of that. I think my problem might be the black box. The problem is that I need to get the part and live outside of the States. Do you know a good place to order it online? Or perhaps I could have a friend in the States swing by a junk yard and get one. Any suggestions? Oh, and I am downloading the manual right now.
