newbie question about spark plugs
you should pull the plugs and check them to see if they are fouled. as far as sluggishness...you'll need to give us more information than that for us to 'guess' what's wrong with the bike.

pop the trunk and read the manual.

I used to be a service writer and when folks would ask for a tune up, that usually got them a lecture and sales pitch. Guess that's why I don't work there anymore.
Honestly mk, you shouldnt need a tune-up orchange of plugs or anything at that year/mileage. But if something doesnt feel right I'd have it checked out, should still be under warranty, right?
Is it dusty in Arizona? If you ride in a dusty environment or considerably higher than sea level, your bike will need maintenance more often than the average bike. I would pull the plugs and check them. Your plugs can tell you a lot about how your engine is running... lean, rich, hot, etc... it's a free thing to check before you have to take it to the dealer.
i pulled the plugs last night and they looked new still. i washed it and lubed the chain ( on a side note how offten should i lube the chain ?) ((i lube it every time i wash the bike once a week ) is that too much or to little ?)) and added a tank of 100 octane to it and went for a ride around town gas mileage is better than it was! and i always run premium. the slugnish was gone the slugnish wastalking about wqas the take off was bogging when i took off from astandstill but its gone now
